Labor endorsement from SEIU 32BJ!

I’m incredibly honored to announce an endorsement from SEIU 32BJ! They are the largest union of property service workers in the U.S.

Vice President Jaime Contreras commented, “32BJ SEIU fully supports Statehood for the District of Columbia because it is the solution that ends second-class status for DC residents and helps the union’s hard-working office cleaners and security officers gain the voice they deserve. Andria brings a modern, strategic approach to Statehood that we desperately need. 32BJ SEIU will stand with her in this election and in the years to come.”

A strategic plan to win Statehood for the District of Columbia must include working with a broad base of allies, extending beyond our traditional supporters.  I am honored to be endorsed by SEIU 32BJ and look forward to working with them to build support across Labor Communities.
