Endorsement: At-large Councilmember David Grosso!

I’m honored to announce another endorsement in my campaign to be your next Shadow Senator: At-large Councilmember David Grosso!

In Grosso’s own words, “I’d like to take a moment to highlight the importance of electing an effective, devoted, and strategic Shadow Senator. That is why I am endorsing Andria Thomas for Shadow Senator in the Democratic Primary on June 19, 2018.

The District of Columbia is perpetually under attack from a right-wing Congress seeking to impose its myopic and archaic world-view on our residents. From infringing upon our local gun laws, to preventing the District of Columbia from implementing our own tax and regulate system for marijuana like several other states, Congress undermines our right to self-govern at every turn.

We need a Shadow Senator who can focus on achieving statehood—one who can motivate our citizens to act at home, and build relationships around the country to help us achieve our goal.”
