After speaking with DC Attorney General Karl Racine many times on the campaign trail, we are especially honored to announce his formal endorsement of Andria for Shadow Senator in our upcoming June 19th Democratic Primary.

DC Attorney General Karl Racine

Councilmember Allen took the unusual step to endorse Andria in a contested primary because he knows that it’s time for a Senator who will engage in an active, strategic effort to move forward on Statehood.

Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen

In Grosso’s own words “I’d like to take a moment to highlight the importance of electing an effective, devoted, and strategic Shadow Senator. That is why I am endorsing Andria Thomas for Shadow Senator in the Democratic Primary on June 19, 2018.”

At-large Councilmember David Grosso

As she shared with her supporters, “We need a more modern, more strategic approach to the work toward Statehood.  Andria Thomas has the experience and vision to be a leader of that effort.  That’s why I am endorsing Andria Thomas to be the next US Senator (Shadow) for the District of Columbia.”

Ward 1 Councilmember Brianne Nadeau

UNITE HERE Local 25 has endorsed Andria’s candidacy for Shadow Senator!  Local 25 is a union of 6,500 hotel workers in Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia.  They know the importance of DC statehood to protecting the rights and ensuring the equal voice of everyone in our democracy.
